This notice covers cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies used with HIGHBORN’s website. Read it with our Privacy Notice.

What they do

  • Essential services: keep a basket, process checkout, support authentication, security and fraud prevention, and remember privacy choices. Technologies genuinely necessary for a service you request can operate without cookie consent.
  • Preferences: remember choices such as language, currency or other display settings. Consent or a specific legal exemption is needed, depending on the purpose.
  • Analytics: help understand visits, page use and shopping journeys. Optional analytics requires consent unless the limited statistical-purpose exemption and its safeguards, including a simple means of objecting, are met.
  • Advertising: measure campaigns, associate activity with advertising identifiers, build audiences and personalise adverts. Advertising tracking and profiling require consent; they are not essential to checkout.

Providers and duration

Our shop uses Shopify and has services for consent management, marketing and measurement, including Avada Cookie Consent, Klaviyo, Triple Whale, Google, Meta and Microsoft. Which technologies appear depends on the page, enabled feature and your choices. Embedded third-party content can have its own technologies.

Session cookies generally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies and local storage can remain after that; durations depend on the specific technology and purpose. A provider’s maximum cookie lifetime is not the same as the time HIGHBORN retains every associated record. For information about a particular cookie or provider, contact us.

Your choices

You are entitled to accept or reject optional tracking and to withdraw consent. Where the consent banner or preferences control is displayed, use its reject or settings options to make your choice. Continuing to browse, closing a notice or agreeing to purchase terms does not constitute consent.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies can prevent the basket or account from working. Browser blocking is an additional control, not a replacement for our obligation to obtain consent where required.

Choices may need to be made separately on another browser or device. Deleting cookies can remove a saved privacy choice. Withdrawing consent does not undo prior lawful processing.

Emails and other sites

Marketing messages can use pixels or tracked links to record interaction where permitted. You can unsubscribe or contact us to object to marketing and related profiling. Third-party sites reached through a link have their own notices and controls.
