1. Don't Dry Out.  Your skin is the barrier that keeps water inside of your body.

When it is dry and cold, water evaporates off of the surface faster and easier. If you have a humidifier (but not many people do!), switch it on - especially if you've got the heating right up to the max. Drink extra water. And one great little trick is to dry your washing on the radiators. Bingo! Moisture in the air!

2. Use Gentle Products. The last thing you want to do is go stripping your skin of its natural moisture and oil. Use a gentle cleanser and other nice, natural, gentle products. Try our Crystal Cleanser for perfect, gentle cleansing.

3. Avoid Hot Showers and Baths.  The first thing I wanted yesterday was to jump straight into a hot bath! But, hot baths and showers without moisturising can create cracks in the skin. They can lead to redness, itching and more.  

4. Moisturise Often. Obvious I know; but, winter moisturising is critical for keeping your skin hydrated. Apply your moisturiser as soon as you get out of the bath. 5. Avoid Going Out with Damp Skin! It's very easy to head out with wet hands, face and body just after a shower. But just like your lips can chap in the cold, so can your face and hands! So make sure you're nice and dry before you head out.

Only 18 months after being so thankfully cleared of breast cancer and judging by the photos and videos, Tracey is looking as good as ever. She's one of those lucky beauties with good features, luminous skin and now it's regrown; long blonde hair. Yet, she spends only a few minutes a day on her face before she's out the door. Tracey lives with Henry and their two children Henry (junior, now 9) and Matilda (now 8) by the sea away from the hustle of her much loved London.
